Responsible Adult in Child Care Settings Course
Starts: October 25, 2019 Ends: October 27, 2019
This course was developed by Westcoast to meet the requirements for 20 hours "Responsible Adult" training as stipulated by the Child Care Licensing Regulation. Through interactive sessions it covers basic concepts about child growth and development, guiding and care for children, programming, learning through play and health, safety and nutrition.

Participants must be at least 19 years old to register, attend all sessions and satisfactorily complete all assignments in order to receive a certificate of completion.

Instructor: Glenda Hemminger has proudly been working the the child care filed for the past 30 years. She began her career in Manitoba working with child and families in a variety of child care settings. She taught Early Childhood courses at Red River Community College in Winnipeg. Glenda was a Coordinator with the Manitoba Child Care office before moving to British Columbia. Glenda worked with the Chilliwack CCRR for the past 20 years. She looks forward to sharing her passion for child care with those getting into the field.

Friday, Oct. 25 9-4:30 pm, Saturday, Oct. 26 9-4:30pm, Sunday, Oct. 27 9-3:30pm (1/2 hr lunch break - please bring your lunch).

Course Fee: $150 or $50 for MCSS CCRR LNRs (workbook included)
Prepayment is required. Cheque or cash. Registrants must cancel one week prior to start of course in order to receive a refund. Original receipt must be provided.
